Boat or Business?
I just saw an advertisement on T.V. that was talking about how you can "Take off this summer" in an "affordable" boat... only $208 per month (I'm sure for 10 years).
Boat or Business?
You see, most online businesses can be started for less than that boat. In fact, you could probably get started for a very small fraction of the cost of that boat.
I recently had a client came to us looking to get started online. He had a very small budget as most people starting out do-- trust me I was there five years ago. He told us of a (great) idea that he had and that a friend of his had told him that he had spent over $30,000 on his website. We told him we could get him online at 10% of that price and he was ecstatic! He actually didn't believe that we could do it!
So, long story short, we completed the project and go him online well within budget. His overall cost was well under his friend's cost and is very functional. In fact, the cost of his entire online business was well under the cost of the aformentioned boat.
So my question is... boat or business?
For me that's a no-brainer... business every time! --- then boat! :-)
